What is Space City - Build Your Empire?
It is a casual simulation and building game. The core loop is simple: extract a raw material, spend it to put up or upgrade a structure, and use that structure to extract the next material up the chain. Oil comes first, then iron, then more advanced production buildings. Everything you make feeds toward one finish line, loading your spaceship with the items it needs to launch. The map is compact, so this is a session you can finish rather than an endless idle grind.
Controls and getting around the base
You play with the mouse to act and the keyboard to look around. Left-click does almost everything: moving your character and interacting with refineries, mines, and buildings. The camera keys let you scan the map for new resource spots.

Refining oil and climbing the resource chain
Oil is your starter currency. Collect barrels from the refinery and spend them, along with stone, to build and upgrade most of your structures. To pull oil out faster, buy astronauts who run on treadmills at the refinery, which raises its output.
Later you need iron to afford certain buildings, so explore the map to find the iron mine. From there you can branch into a greenhouse, a magma mine, and other production, upgrading each one for better yields.

Fueling the ship and leaving the planet
Once your production is rolling, you can build a line that runs straight to your spaceship and automates delivery of most resources. Keep feeding it until the ship is topped up with every required item, then launch and leave the planet. That launch is the ending, which is why the game is described as short: there is a clear goal and a real finish, not an open meter that never fills.
Watch out for thieves
Your stockpile is not safe on its own. Thieves show up to skim your resources, and the fix is a military base. Build one as early as you can afford it to slow them down before they cost you a meaningful amount of progress. It is the one defensive structure that pays for itself by protecting everything else you are producing.
Is it free and can I play it unblocked?

- Stack astronauts on the oil refinery first, since oil funds almost everything else.
- Once a building is paying for itself, push its upgrades before branching into the next resource.
Why the short format works
Most tycoon games leave you idling forever. This one gives you a target, refuel the ship, and a tight map to do it on, so every oil barrel and iron load is moving you toward an actual exit. The thieves add just enough pressure that you cannot purely turtle on production, and the launch at the end makes the whole run feel like it had a point.
